Kenisha Page is a 2nd grade teacher at Baden Academy Charter School. She was born and raised in Beaver County. She has been teaching for 16 years and has noticed a lack of education in black history across the states in which she has taught. Kenisha has been a part of leading several black history activities for Black History month at Baden, and has since developed a passion to learn and teach more of this part of history. |

Harmony joined the Beaver County Black History Club in 2020. Harmony loves her pet dog Luna and she wants a pet dolphin one day. Harmony enjoys math and ELA in school and has a fascination with California because, she likes the food. Harmony joined this to learn more about her local heritage. Harmony plays basketball for Aliquippa , her local school district. The reason why Harmony wants to learn more about black history is because people are not telling us the full story of what happened in this world a long time ago. Harmony wants to learn about the people who helped us get to who we are today. This is why she joined this club.
